 I used many elements of design for this project. I made everything symmetrical and centered. The texture fades well together and is all balanced out by gradient features. The colors all flow together well and offer a great visual appeal. I used a picture of the earth focusing on the Atlantic Ocean, with a star marking Charleston, SC. This works with the idea that the brewery is local but also exports overseas. I researched several other brewery logos; many of them are circular and simple with the company name worked into the design usually with borders to emphasize the name. This logo grabs your attention and is very clear what it is advertising. The gradient offers a nice background for the word Atlantic which makes it stand out while fading into a lightened Atlantic Ocean that serves as the main background/idea of the logo. This logo could be printed used for the sign outside the brewery, it could be printed on their menus, used for merchandise such as t-shirts and coasters, and could also be pasted onto the bottles of beer. It is overall a very visually appealing and versatile logo. Simple yet appealing.

 I chose to make the main picture a gradient with a picture of Laguna Beach very faintly showing through it. The image inside the gradient is an easel with the Laguna Beach scenery showing onto the painting. Sawdust Festivals slogan is Creatively Fun, which is also included on the easel. I chose to picture the beautiful scenery, because this would catch someoneÕs eye that is reading a travel magazine. I clearly stated the name of the event and gave some very basic information underneath it. For more information, people can visit the website included at the very bottom.
